From concept and design to production and distribution, every step of the process reflects our passion for quality, innovation, and storytelling.
The Buyer & Production Coordinator is responsible for managing the purchasing and production follow-up of Tomorrowland products. Working closely with the Design, Product Development, Logistics, and Sales teams, this role ensures that products are produced efficiently, delivered on time, and meet the expected quality and margin targets.
The position plays a key role in coordinating suppliers, monitoring production timelines, and ensuring that each collection or product drop runs smoothly from order placement to delivery.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Production & Delivery Planning
- Define production timelines for each collection or product drop.
- Align deadlines with design, development, buying, and logistics teams.
- Monitor production lead times and ensure launch dates can be met.
Purchase Order Preparation & Buying
- Confirm which styles are ready for ordering and validate lead times.
- Check MOQs, costs, and potential production risks.
- Consolidate orders from different sales channels and determine order quantities per style, size, and color.
- Negotiate pricing and place Purchase Orders with suppliers while safeguarding margins.
Production Follow-Up
- Manage samples (SMS, PPS) and track the progress of bulk production.
- Proactively address delays and communicate updates to internal teams.
- Coordinate finished orders with logistics and warehousing.
Supplier Communication
- Maintain daily communication with manufacturers.
- Resolve production or quality issues when they arise.
- Ensure suppliers meet agreed deadlines and quality standards.
Production Cost & Financial Monitoring
- Calculate landed cost before placing orders whenever possible.
- Monitor cost changes and evaluate price adjustments.
- Support optimization of the cost structure while maintaining product quality.
MUST-HAVES
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Fashion Management, or a related field.
- 3–6+ years of experience in buying, production, or sourcing within fashion, lifestyle, or consumer goods.
Technical Skills
- Strong understanding of production processes and supply chain management.
- Experience with purchase order management and supplier negotiations.
- Advanced Excel skills and strong numerical accuracy.
- Ability to monitor margins, costs, and production timelines.
Personal Competencies
- Strong organizational and planning skills with excellent attention to detail.
- A proactive problem-solver who thrives in a dynamic environment.
- Strong communication skills in English; Dutch is a plus.
