Internship Fashion Product Development
Internship Fashion Product Development Castart & Our Sister

Men’s brand Castart (2018) & female counterpart Our Sister (2021) are two emerging Belgian brands born with the idea of creating garments with heartfelt textures and vibrant colours that are well-balanced, shifting clothing into a more playful and diverse world.
Since launching the CASTART first collection in 2018, we’ve always done things differently.
The definitive creative thread that runs through each of our collections is one of an artistic journey which allows you to tell your story through fashion.
Our Sister is the female counterpart of Castart launched in 2021. The identity between both brands will embrace each other such as the source of fabrics but so as within a family we believe in strong similarities and unique personalities to create an outstanding style for men, women and non-binairy individuals.
We are currently looking for a Product Development intern to join our team and support the development of the Our Sister & Castart collections from concept through to final production.
This role is a great opportunity for anyone interested in understanding how a product is made end to end and what it takes to create a collection. The selected candidate will gain hands-on experience across all stages of the product development process, working closely with design, development, production, sales and marketing teams. The position is suited to someone who is highly organised, proactive, energetic and interested in product development.
Based in Antwerp at our HQ, this is a part time position 3 days per week for a minimum of 6 months. Start date and end date is flexible upon availability.
The role:
You will work closely with the Head of Design throughout the development process, supporting the day to day management and organisation of the collection across both Our Sister and Castart.
Your work will involve creating and maintaining collection overviews, organising development materials, measuring garments, recording technical information, and ensuring key development and production data is accurate and up to date. You will attend fittings, take detailed notes, and help communicate feedback clearly to the team.
You will help manage design and development files, fabric and trim information, and assist with the preparation of technical documents and tech packs. You will contribute to BOMs, Excel tracking sheets, and collection management tools, helping to organise product information and development updates for the relevant department.
Working closely with the production team, you will assist in recording, collating, and presenting technical feedback, organising production information, and supporting the smooth running of collection development from initial concept through to production.
Profile:
You are currently studying fashion management, product development, or a fashion related field, preferably in the final stages of your studies, and are looking to gain hands-on experience within a working studio environment.
You have a strong interest in product development and a keen interest to learn and understand how design translates into a final product. You have an awareness of our DNA and aesthetic. You keep up to date with current fashions and have a basic knowledge of garment construction.
You are fluent in English, both written and spoken, and confident working with Excel, outlook, Adobe Illustrator and Adobe InDesign. You are comfortable handling structured information and technical files.
You are highly organised, reliable, and able to manage your own time. You take initiative, work with focus, and are motivated to learn through doing.
What we offer:
We are a small, energetic and growing team, so you have the opportunity to gain direct experience across the full product development cycle from research through to production.
Ability to learn, grow and take on further responsibilities in line with your skills and interests.
Working closely with a small team, you will be involved in the day to day reality of building a collection, developing both your creative and technical understanding of the process.
