Internship: Marketing & Communications
Internship: Marketing & Communications (IM)PERMANENT

(IM)PERMANENT digitises private fashion archives to create a searchable, shared knowledge base where designers, students and researchers can study garment construction, materials and techniques without travelling to an archive.
Through 3D digitisation and computer vision, we make knowledge held in private collections accessible to a wider audience. We work with a growing network of prominent collectors, archivists and fashion institutions.
We're looking for a Marketing & Communications Intern to help us build our audience, develop our editorial voice and communicate our work as we launch the platform.
You'll have access to exceptional private collections, archival material and the stories behind them, with the freedom to develop your own editorial ideas. Your work will be directly with the founders and will contribute to the launch and growth of a new platform for fashion research.
What you'll do
Develop and create editorial content for Instagram, Youtube, and other communication channels, from garment stories and archival discoveries to insights into our technology.
Help build and engage our community of designers, students, researchers and fashion institutions ahead of launch.
Develop communication initiatives targeting fashion schools, students and educators.
Contribute to our brand positioning, visual identity and editorial direction.
Research relevant audiences, publications and potential collaborators.
Track engagement, evaluate what works and bring your own ideas for reaching new audiences.
Who you are
Studying or recently graduated in fashion communication, journalism, marketing or a related field.
Have a strong interest in fashion history, design and contemporary fashion culture.
A confident writer with a good visual eye and an ability to communicate complex ideas clearly.
Curious, independent and comfortable developing your own ideas, experimenting and taking initiative.
Interested in the intersection of fashion, culture and technology.
Fluent in English; Dutch or French is a plus.
Why it's worth your time
You'll have the opportunity to help shape a brand and its communication from the beginning, rather than simply working within an established framework.
You'll have access to exceptional private collections, archival material and the stories behind them, with the freedom to develop your own editorial ideas.
You'll work directly with the founders and see your work contribute to the launch and growth of a new platform for fashion research.
To apply
Send your CV and two or three examples of your work to ofir.hanoch@im-permanent.com . This can be writing, editorial projects, social media content or anything else that demonstrates your perspective.
