Talking Walls is an Antwerp-based fashion brand built around a simple idea: beauty is everywhere. We discover artworks, colours and textures on walls and surfaces around the world and give them a new life in fashion, while their original story lives on throughout our brand universe. A faded mural in India, a weathered tile in Portugal or an unnoticed gem around the corner can become the starting point for a print, a garment or an entire collection.

What began as a distinctive way of looking at the world has grown into an international brand with a loyal B2B and B2C customer base. Today, Talking Walls is represented in more than 300 selected high-end multibrand stores worldwide, alongside our own growing international online business.

We work from The House with the Talking Walls, our flagship, studio and offices in the heart of Antwerp’s fashion district. As we continue to grow, we are looking for a Fashion Designer to join our team.
 

YOUR ROLE

• Contribute to the development of our seasonal collections, from collection plan to final execution
• Research trends, shapes, colours, prints, fabrics and materials, always with a clear Talking Walls point of view
• Design and develop garments, from first sketch through prototypes, fittings and sampling
• Work closely with technical and graphic partners to translate ideas into production-ready products
• Follow up with suppliers and production partners to ensure the final product lives up to the original idea
• Collaborate on styling, campaigns, photoshoots and the presentation of our Antwerp flagship

YOUR BACKGROUND

• Degree in Fashion Design or a related field
• At least 1 years of relevant professional experience
• Good understanding of garment construction, fabrics, fit and product development
• Experience with Illustrator and Photoshop; CAD and 3D tools are an advantage
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Good working knowledge of French
