As part of its 10 year anniversary, Isola returns its main showcases to the heart of the Isola neighborhood, activating a series of collective exhibitions across the district. Most exhibitions revisit a past format through a new lens, combining established ideas with fresh voices.
Isola Design Festival celebrates a decade shaped by designers, studios, brands, and partners who have been a part of Isola’s shared design vision. Over the past 10 years, what began as a local event grew into a recurring festival, evolved into a digital platform, and expanded into a global network.
With the theme TEN: The Evolving Now, Isola honors its origins while opening space for what comes next. This edition brings back a few of the most successful past showcase formats along with new collaborations with key figures who shaped important moments in Isola’s history. It also reconnects with the heart of the Isola neighborhood by revisiting several locations that hosted earlier exhibitions and introducing new venues, extending the program into an emerging area of Milan linked to a series of initiatives in the Certosa district.
